Invitation to RDA RT&LH Centre Planning Day for 2008

The Centre is having a planning day on Wednesday 29 October.  We hope that as many people as possible will

attend.  It is a great opportunity to have your say about what improvements you would like at the Centre.

 

The day is open to all members, volunteers, riders, parents and carers.

 

Its been a couple of years since our last planning day so it is quite important that we take time to review the

year’s activities and establishes a wish list and priorities for the coming twelve months.  Many of the

improvements to the centre have come from suggestions made and agreed to at these planning days.

 

Being a large Centre with extremely good facilities, a good complement of horses and a long history of providing

a wonderful service to our clients it is thought that this year we should do things a little differently.  We are keen to

take a much longer view of where this Centre should be heading.  We are hoping that people will come along

and share with us their view of where the Centre should be heading over the next 10 to 20 years. 

This way we can be sure that any large expenditure we next year make forms part of a long term strategy that

guarantees the future viability of the Centre.

 

The day will start at 9.00am and wind up around 1.00pm.

Trivia Night

Trivia Night is back! We are going to celebrate 10 years since the opening of Murphy’s Room in style

on Saturday 15 November at 6.30 pm. If you have 6 people to make a team, then start now by trying to remember

all of your RDA trivia. We can also help to put people together on the night to form a team. Bring a plate of food

to share and everyone will have a fantastic meal. An entry fee of $10 for adults can be paid on the night, with

all proceeds going towards the sensory garden. For further information contact Roly Taylor on 0409 449 596.

Monthly Trail Rides for Designated Riders

All approved Designated Riders are invited to attend the monthly trail rides that occur on the last

Saturday of each month. These rides are wonderful experiences for our horses as they get the

chance to do something different from their weekly routines.

 

The next ride is on Saturday 25 October. If you are interested in participating then contact

Wine Fundraiser

In 2008 we are again holding our Wine Fundraiser. This year we have another great red wine to offer you.

 Unfortunately we couldn’t get the very popular Chambourcin, but a Shiraz was chosen to tickle your taste

buds (details are on the back label of the bottle). The profits from the sale of wine will go towards buying

 equipment for our riders and looking after our most special equipment, The Horses.

 

Cost per Single Bottle $9.00 

Cost per Dozen $85.00
