Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) is a voluntary, charitable organisation which provides therapeutic riding instruction, dressage, hippotherapy, carriage driving and horse management skills for people with disabilities.  The RDA Raymond Terrace & Lower Hunter Centre (RT&LH) enables people with disabilities throughout the Hunter Region to experience enjoyment, challenge and a sense of achievement through participation in horse riding activities that result in the development of life skills, improved quality of life and the attainment of personal goals.

The RT&LH Centre is a charity registered as a Public Benevolent Institution that is managed by a Management Committee.  The Management Committee is responsible for the day-to-day successful operation of the Centre.

We receive no ongoing State or Federal funding.  All operational costs are met through a combination of nominal participant fees, annual fundraising activities and dona5tions from the community.

If you would like to support people with a disability to achieve short and long term life goals, you can do so by making a donation.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and a receipt will be sent to you in the mail.

Donations can also be made via Riding for the Disabled Association (NSW)'s Riding Develops Abilities Appeal. The Give It Now program hosts a secure website for credit card donations, of a one off or recurring nature.

For first time users, please follow the directions below to ensure your donation reaches RDA Raymond Terrace & Lower Hunter Centre:

Step 1:  Once you have read all of the instructions below, click the above logo to go to the Give Now secure website.

Step 2: Insert the amount you wish to donate to our Centre.

Select to Join Give Now or Give a One Off Donation by clicking Don't Use My Giving, then click Continue.

Step 3:  Complete you personal information and payment details

Step 4:  Click the box next to Special Message (as per below) and a new section will appear.

Click Other section and type RTLH, then press continue.

Step 5:  Follow directions to finalise your donation.

Riding for the Disabled Association (NSW) will issue with a receipt for your records,

and your donation will be forwarded to our Centre.
