Pudding Fundraiser
Our Christmas Pudding Fundraiser is on again! Last year was so successful, that Daphne Bridges has offered to use her scrumptious recipe to make more this year.
Daphne is looking for helpers to assist her to make her puddings, using our RDA kitchen (a date has yet to be set). The puddings will be ready for collection from RDA in November. If you are interested in a fun cooking day, please give your name to Jan Sharp at wgsharp@ipirmus.com.au or by phone on (02) 4982 2932.
The cost will be $10 for a 500 gram pudding, and $20 for a 1kg family pudding. All monies raised (minus recipe ingredients) will be donated to RDA.
If you would like to place an order, please leave your details with Vicki in the office. We ask that payment be made at time of ordering your pudding. We are unable to deliver any puddings, so you must be able to collect your pudding from the Centre.
The
annual Ride A Thon fundraising drive was held throughout August.
A number of our riding programs undertook special activities during the month to promote the event and make the programs unique. There were fancy dress days, scavenger hunts and trail rides.
RAT, on behalf of our horse’s, would like to thank the riders who were able to obtain sponsorship for their horse.
Each sponsor was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for their fundraising efforts.
A total of $940.00 has been raised this year. All funds will be used to meet the costs of horse feed and horse related expenses for the remainder of the year. We look forward to doing it all again next year.
